Azeroth Survivors Warlock Build
Warlock leads the clear-score board by a wide margin and is last on our beginner list. Dots and demons clear packs while you walk. A new player dies before the dots matter. The quoted capstone line is the English string from client 0.112.5. The plan under it is a community reading, not a counted sample of our own runs. Open the gear page and the planner when the capstone is chosen.
S tier · beginner #9 · clear score #1 (254.2)
Survivability: Low index 120. Difficulty: Hard index 15. Range: Ranged.
Starter: Shadow Bolt. Shadow Bolt is the starter. Seed of Corruption also starts you with Corruption.
F spell: Howl of Terror, 20s. Races: Gnome, Orc, Undead.
Hit points are not printed. Older posts disagree, including Paladin figures of 245 and 160, and this desk will not pick one.

Seed of Corruption
Capstone. You start every run with Corruption, and enemies that die afflicted by your damage-over-time effects burst for {v}% of their maximum health on everything within 6 yd.
Quoted from the 0.112.5 English string table. A “v” in curly braces is the client’s placeholder. This page does not fill it in. The notes below are still community.
The plague plan. Deaths spread the clear.
- Cards: Corruption, Curse of Agony, the jump milestone, Siphon Life.
- Talent order: Dots that jump on death, then the capstone, then haste.
- Gear and jewelry: DoT haste and area. A heal-on-tick covers the low health index.
- Zones: Once you can survive the first three minutes.
Pact of the Annihilan
Capstone. Summons a Pit Lord for {v} sec every 30 sec, reduced by CDR (min 13 sec). Up to 2 active. Felseeker inherits your Searing Pain upgrades and deals 25% more damage to its primary target. It hits up to 6 enemies. Exclusive with Butcher.

A large demon on a timer. Searing Pain feeds its Felseeker.
- Cards: Searing Pain and demon damage.
- Talent order: Pick this or Butcher, never both. The 0.110.0 notes treat them as exclusive.
- Gear and jewelry: Pet damage and cooldown reduction so the 30-second window shrinks.
- Zones: Boss zones where a big pet soaks a hit.
Butcher
Capstone. Summons a Felguard for {v} sec every 30 sec, reduced by CDR (min 13 sec). Up to 2 active. Cleaves up to 10 enemies within 15 yd. Every third swing deals double damage. Deals 50% more damage below 30% enemy health. Exclusive with Pact of the Annihilan.

The cleave demon instead of the Pit Lord.
- Cards: Felguard and cleave. Skip Pit Lord cards.
- Talent order: Same exclusive choice as the Pact.
- Gear and jewelry: Pet damage. Execute-style bonuses help the “harder below 30%” swing.
- Zones: Packs that surround a pet.
Rain of Chaos
Capstone. A second Rain of Fire falls on its own every 13 sec, and its burning ground slows what it touches.

Ground fire you kite through.
- Cards: Rain of Fire and area.
- Talent order: Rain ranks, then the capstone.
- Gear and jewelry: Area and slow damage.
- Zones: Open zones. Tight arenas make the ground harder to use.
Milestones worth the points
- Corruption and Curse of Agony jump to a nearby enemy on death.
- Shadow Bolt forks to two more enemies.
- A permanent Felhunter (Soul Devourer) or Voidwalker (Soul Link). Pick one.
- A Legion Gate brings lesser demons. Its succubi stun corrupted enemies.
- Shadow Bolts corrupt, and Corruption ticks can fire a free Shadow Bolt.
Spell book
Per-rank damage is not a single number in the 0.112.5 tooltips we read. Many of them still say “v” in curly braces. The table is the spell’s job, plus the icon when the client record names one. Rank the spell your capstone names, and leave the others.
| Spell | Role | Rank numbers |
|---|---|---|
| Starter; forks and can be fired by Corruption | Not a single value in the 0.112.5 string | |
| Seed starter and the spread | Not a single value in the 0.112.5 string | |
| Dot that jumps | Not a single value in the 0.112.5 string | |
| Fire dot; explosion setups | Not a single value in the 0.112.5 string | |
| Feeds the Pit Lord | Not a single value in the 0.112.5 string | |
| Rain of Chaos ground | Not a single value in the 0.112.5 string | |
| Soul Fire | Shard plan used with luck, not a capstone | Not a single value in the 0.112.5 string |
Card priority
- Early: Corruption and one survival card. Gnome luck is a real early pick if you chose that race.
- Mid: Soul Devourer or Soul Link, not both. That exclusive choice is the 0.110.0 note.
- Before the boss: Howl of Terror is a 20-second fear, not a blink. Do not fear a boss into a fresh pack if you can walk instead.
Bosses and mistakes
Dots on the boss, demons between you and the enrage. If the pet plan and the dot plan are both half-finished, you have neither.
Following an older Imp, Demonic Pact, Felguard video as if it were the 0.110.0 tree. The current exclusive choices are Soul Devourer versus Soul Link, and Pit Lord versus Butcher. Do not pick every direct-damage spell. The class wins when damage-over-time spreads.
What 0.110.0 changed
0.110.0 is the version where public notes document Soul Devourer versus Soul Link, Legion Gate, and the exclusive capstones. The older Imp sequence is historical only. Patch notes.
