Azeroth Survivors Download
Azeroth Survivors is free from one publisher, Aethus, at wow.aethus.pl. You can play it in a browser with no install, or download the Windows build as a 755 MB .rar archive. The button below pulls that file straight from the official server. This desk does not mirror it.
Get the game
- File: AzerothSurvivorsWindowsNew.rar, a RAR archive with one folder,
AzerothSurvivors, andAzerothSurvivors.exeinside it. - Size: 754,921,096 bytes (755 MB).
- Source: wow.aethus.pl, the same link the official page shows when the browser game is busy.
- File date on the server: 19 October 2026. The browser client we saw on 2026-10-29 was 0.127.0, so the Windows build can be behind the browser one.
Checked on 2026-10-29 with a request to the official link: size, date, and the first archive entry. Re-check the size your browser reports before you open the file.
Check the size before you extract
Match the byte count, not the MB label. On 2026-10-29 the official link reported 754,921,096 bytes. 755 MB is that count divided by 1,000,000 and rounded. Divide the same count by 1,048,576 and round to the nearest whole number: 720. File Explorer uses that second division and still prints MB, so a finished copy can read about 720 MB and still be complete.
Right-click the .rar, open Properties, and read the byte number on the Size line. Size on disk is the space the drive reserved. It is usually a little higher, and it is the wrong number. If the byte count is under 754,921,096, the file stopped early. Resume it from the browser’s download list.
While the transfer is still running, the size in the browser’s download list is only the bytes received so far. Wait until that row finishes, then open Properties. A paused file that is still short of 754,921,096 bytes can be resumed. It is not a corrupt archive yet.
Install on Windows
- Click Download for Windows. The file saves to your Downloads folder. You stay on this page.
- Extract the .rar. Windows 11 on current updates opens RAR files in File Explorer. On Windows 10, use 7-Zip or WinRAR.
- Open the extracted
AzerothSurvivorsfolder and runAzerothSurvivors.exe. - Keep the folder somewhere you will find again. Moving it is fine. Do not delete it to “update” until you have exported your save.
- If you played in the browser first, export a .sav there and import it in the new client. See save backup and transfer.
What the extracted folder should contain
The 2026-10-29 check read the archive header and the first entry only, so this page has no full file list. That entry is a folder named AzerothSurvivors, with AzerothSurvivors.exe inside it.
- After extract, the top folder has that name, and the exe is inside it rather than beside the .rar. Another name means this is not the archive measured above, or the files landed somewhere else. Extracting into a folder you already named
AzerothSurvivorscan nest that name twice. The exe is one level further down. - A folder with no exe means extraction stopped early. Check the byte count, resume if the archive is short, and extract again into an empty folder.
- File Explorer can show the exe while the .rar is still packed. Running it from that view is not an install. Extract first, then run the exe from the folder on disk.
- Leave the other files. The exe is not a single-file game, and this desk has not measured the unpacked size. Keep free space past the 755 MB archive.
Browser or Windows?
| Browser | Windows archive | |
|---|---|---|
| Install | None. Open wow.aethus.pl. | 755 MB .rar, then extract |
| WebGPU | Required | Not needed in a browser |
| When the server is busy | HTTP 429 can stop the boot | The archive is the official way around it |
| Version | 0.127.0 on 2026-10-29 | File dated 19 October 2026 |
| Save | Browser storage on wow.aethus.pl | The local client’s own saves. Do not assume they match a browser export. |
Download slow, failed, or will not start
- It stopped partway. Use Resume in the browser’s download list. The official server accepts resumed downloads, so you do not have to start the 755 MB again.
- It is very slow. Everyone is pulling the same file from one host. Let it run, or pause and resume later. A “fast mirror” elsewhere is not faster, it is someone else’s file.
- Nothing happens on click. Check the browser’s download bar for a blocked file and choose Keep. Then check disk space.
- The archive will not open. A partial file will not extract. Compare the byte count under check the size with 754,921,096 bytes, and resume if it is short.
- The browser game is the problem, not the download. Go to not loading or check live status.
Mac, Linux, Steam Deck, phones
There is no Mac or Linux download on the official host. Both can use the browser game if WebGPU works. The official page tells Linux Chrome users to turn on chrome://flags/#enable-unsafe-webgpu. The boot script mentions a Mac app scheme, azs://, so a Mac build exists in the creator’s tooling, but we will not guess a URL. Steam Deck runs Linux, so the same browser route applies. We have not tested the Windows archive under Proton. Phones and tablets use the browser too: see mobile, iPad and Steam Deck.
A repack, an “offline.zip” on a file host, or a site that frames the game is how players lose saves and install junk. The official client detects fake hosts and refuses to boot the world there. For the creator’s own links, use the official Discord.
Where can I download Azeroth Survivors?
Only from the official host, wow.aethus.pl. The Windows file is https://wow.aethus.pl/download/AzerothSurvivorsWindowsNew.rar. The button on this page starts that same file. We do not host a copy.
How big is the Windows download?
754,921,096 bytes (755 MB) when we checked the official link on 2026-10-29. File Explorer can show that same file as about 720 MB. Match the byte count. Leave extra room for the extracted folder.
Is there a mirror or a faster download?
Not from us, and we do not link any. The official server supports resumed downloads, so a stalled file can usually be resumed instead of restarted. Repacks are how players lose saves or install junk.
Is Azeroth Survivors free?
Yes. The browser game and the Windows archive are free and need no account.
Does the Windows build use my browser save?
No. The browser keeps its save in the storage of wow.aethus.pl. Export a .sav from Options, Saves before you switch, and see the save page for what carries over.
Is Azeroth Survivors legal and safe?
It is a free, unofficial fan game by Aethus. Blizzard did not make it and does not endorse it, and the World of Warcraft names and art in it belong to Blizzard. We cannot say how Blizzard will treat it, and this is not legal advice. Playing costs nothing and never asks for a Battle.net login. The real risk is the source: use wow.aethus.pl or the official Windows file above, not a repack.
Is Azeroth Survivors on Steam?
It had no Steam release on 22 October 2026. A Steam page claiming to sell it is not the creator’s.
