Azeroth Survivors WebGPU Error

“This browser has no WebGPU” is the official client refusing to boot because navigator.gpu is missing, or because an adapter never arrives. The button below runs that same pair of checks on your machine and then shows the matching fix.

If you would rather follow the steps

  1. Chrome or Edge, current version, or Safari 26+.
  2. Linux Chrome: enable chrome://flags/#enable-unsafe-webgpu and restart.
  3. Firefox: the official message does not list it. Set dom.webgpu.enabled to true only as a test, then restart. No adapter means use Chrome or Edge.
  4. Laptop with two GPUs: Windows Settings, System, Display, Graphics, then set the browser to High performance and restart it. The official script says Chrome only offers WebGPU on the GPU its compositor is using.
  5. Hardware acceleration on, driver updated, chrome://gpu for the block reason.

Still stuck after a real adapter? Look at the black screen and whether the server is busy.

Does the check send my GPU name anywhere?

Safari says no WebGPU.

Use Safari 26 or newer. Older macOS Safari builds do not expose the API the official client asks for.
