Vampire Survivors vs Azeroth Survivors
Vampire Survivors is the survivors-like people mean when they describe Azeroth Survivors: move, let the weapons fire, and pick an upgrade. It is not set in Azeroth, and it is not a fan client of Warcraft.
Side by side
| Azeroth Survivors | Vampire Survivors | |
|---|---|---|
| A run | You move. Spells cast themselves. A level stops the run so you can pick one of the offered cards. | You move. Weapons fire on their own. Level-ups are a pick of upgrades, and weapons can evolve. |
| Setting | A free fan game in a Warcraft 1.12 setting: 9 classes, races, and a zone chain that starts in Elwynn Forest. | Its own gothic cast. No Warcraft classes and no Elwynn chain. |
| Where it runs | Browser at wow.aethus.pl, which needs WebGPU, or the official Windows archive from that host. This desk does not list a Steam page. | Steam, plus consoles and mobile. Search the store. This desk has no affiliate link. |
| Between runs | Talent points, gear, and the next zone stay with the class that cleared the run. | Unlocks and gold on that save. Not a per-class talent tree tied to a zone clear. |
Azeroth Survivors’ column is how this desk already describes the fan client. Vampire Survivors is from its public page or store listing, read as a category difference. This desk has not timed a run of Vampire Survivors.
What they share
Both runs ask the same thing of your hands. You steer. Attacks happen without a cast button. A level-up is a choice of upgrades, and the build is the run.
What they do not
Vampire Survivors is its own cast of characters and weapons, sold on Steam and also on consoles and phones. Azeroth Survivors uses nine Warcraft classes, a zone chain, and talent points that belong to one class. One is a store game. The other is a free browser fan game.
Which one to open
- Pick Vampire Survivors when you want the genre without a Warcraft setting, and a copy you can install from a store.
- Stay with Azeroth Survivors when the class, the zone bosses, and the armory are the reason you opened the tab. The guide, the live status, and the builds stay on this desk.
