Death Must Die vs Azeroth Survivors
Death Must Die keeps the horde and adds attacks you actually press, closer to a dodge-and-strike run than to auto-cast. Azeroth Survivors leaves the casting to the game.
Side by side
| Azeroth Survivors | Death Must Die | |
|---|---|---|
| A run | You move. Spells cast themselves. A level stops the run so you can pick one of the offered cards. | Hordes plus attacks and dodges you choose. Boons change the build as you go. |
| Setting | A free fan game in a Warcraft 1.12 setting: 9 classes, races, and a zone chain that starts in Elwynn Forest. | Its own mythic cast. Not Warcraft classes or Elwynn bosses. |
| Where it runs | Browser at wow.aethus.pl, which needs WebGPU, or the official Windows archive from that host. This desk does not list a Steam page. | Steam. Search the store. This desk has no affiliate link. |
| Between runs | Talent points, gear, and the next zone stay with the class that cleared the run. | Unlocks and the next attempt. Not a per-class zone chain. |
Azeroth Survivors’ column is how this desk already describes the fan client. Death Must Die is from its public page or store listing, read as a category difference. This desk has not timed a run of Death Must Die.
What they share
A crowd, a build that grows during the run, and positioning that matters.
What they do not
Death Must Die wants active attacks and the kind of god-boon choices a Hades-like uses. Azeroth Survivors wants you to move while the class spells fire, then pick a card. The gods and weapons are not the nine Warcraft classes.
Which one to open
- Pick Death Must Die when you want to swing and dodge, not only steer.
- Stay here when the class should cast for you. The guide, the live status, and the builds stay on this desk.
